The Human Advantage Leadership Salon
July 22 | New York City | Midtown
On July 22, 2026, leaders from across New York came together to celebrate the launch of The E3 Leadership Code: A Human Approach to High Performance at the inaugural Human Advantage Leadership Salon.
More than a book launch, the evening brought together executives, entrepreneurs, educators, artists, and community leaders from organizations including Conscious Capitalism NYC, ATD New York City, Pace University, EY Alumni, PDA, and many others for an engaging conversation about leadership, purpose, creativity, and what it means to remain human in a rapidly changing world.
The program featured a fireside conversation between Kathy Eastwood and Terri Maxwell, inspiring artwork and reflections from AnneMarie Glebinski, a heartfelt toast from Nigel Franklyn, and thoughtful dialogue with attendees throughout the evening. Guests also participated in a collaborative painting experience that reflected one of the event's central themes: the best things we create are built together.
The evening was filled with meaningful conversations, new connections, and a shared commitment to advancing a more human approach to leadership. It marked not only the launch of a book, but the beginning of a community dedicated to exploring the future of leadership through connection, curiosity, and conversation.

leading with head and heart
Most leaders have good intentions to lead well, yet the gap between vision and outcomes persists. Deadlines, competing priorities, and constant demands can pull even experienced leaders away from the behaviors that build trust and drive impact. In The E3 Leadership Code: A Human Approach to High Performance, Kathy Eastwood offers a practical, human-centered guide for leaders who want to lead thriving teams effectively.
Drawing on decades of executive experience, Eastwood introduces the E3 Leadership Code, a clear and repeatable system and leadership rhythm based on three essential practices: EXPRESS a compelling vision and purpose, ENGAGE people through trust, language, and shared accountability, and EXECUTE with discipline, clear ownership, and follow-through.
At the core of this approach are the Emotional Qualities, including awareness, authenticity, courage, curiosity, and empathy, connecting people and performance. These qualities anchor leaders in stressful moments and help them avoid “drifting” from good habits when the stakes are high.
Through real-world examples, practical exercises, and immediately applicable skills, Eastwood shows how to translate leadership principles into everyday actions. She clarifies the distinction between management and leadership, examines common leadership styles, and introduces the E3 Leadership Profile, a self-awareness tool that helps leaders better understand their behaviors, values, experiences, and purpose so they can lead with both head and heart.
The E3 Leadership Code is a practical and engaging read that closes the gap between what leaders intend and what they ultimately deliver. It provides a structured path to building stronger teams, improving outcomes, and creating cultures where people and results grow together.
